Table magic is often referred to as close-up magic. It is particularly powerful because the performer moves from group to group, entertaining guests individually at their tables. This allows the audience to be close to the magic and experience it up close.
Close-up magic brings the art and fun right to the guests. With incredible effects, the magic even happens in the hands of the audience. With this personalised magic, your guests are the centre of attention and each guest gets their own individual show.

Felix Gauger blends into the crowd, bridging waiting times, spreading good humour and getting your guests talking. Close-up magic can be performed almost anywhere as no large props are required. Duration depends on the number of people in the audience and can range from 45 minutes to several hours over the course of the evening. Felix carries everything with him and therefore needs very few props to make the magic happen. He mix and mingles with the audience and wows even the most sceptical guests.
The Close Up is most often booked as a walking act, where the magician moves from group to group. However, it is also possible for Felix to stand at one table and have guests walk by to experience the magic.

Yes, magician Felix is fully mobile and will come to your event wherever it takes place. Felix regularly performs in the Frankfurt area. He can also be found in Stuttgart, Hamburg and Hannover. On the popular wedding island of Mallorca, the magician is also a regular guest. Felix has even been booked to perform in the Caribbean, Transylvania and Southeast Asia. Due to his proximity to the Frankfurt airport, he can easily reach any event by train, car or plane.

Magic is a form of entertainment. It uses the principles of trickery to enchant guests. However, it has nothing to do with any kind of fortune telling, esoteric events, runes, divining rods, chakra events or similar absurd things. This may sound obvious, but it is not taken for granted in all cultures. The magician has already performed magic in other cultures and first had to make it clear that these are just tricks, a means to an end of good entertainment. Felix cannot really stop time, travel through space and time, or do any of the other things he claims to do on stage to make the audience think.
The association for magicians is called the Magic Circle of Germany. Felix has been a member of the Magic Circle since 2008 and has successfully passed the theoretical and practical exams.
Fortunately, this has rarely happened so far. However, if a gig is cancelled due to illness, Felix will provide an equivalent replacement. He has a huge network of artists at his disposal, is in regular contact with his colleagues and, if the worst comes to the worst, has a replacement at the ready - that's a promise!
